Loic Bruni & MT7 win the DH WELTCUP 2023!

With third place in the final race, Frenchman Loic Bruni once again secures the overall World Cup season ranking after 2019 and 2021.

The 2023 downhill season celebrated a crowning conclusion last weekend in Mont Sainte Anne (Canada). On the legendary course, a grandiose third place was enough for our #SuperBruni to celebrate the overall ranking of this year’s eight World Cup victories in the end!

In downhill racing, it is often only tenths of a second that decide between victory and defeat. All the more impressive is the performance of Loic, who showed a consistently strong performance throughout the year.  Highlights from the World Cup Final: (3) Men’s DH Race Highlights Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada | UCI Mountain Bike World Series – YouTube

After the 2022 World Cup title, our MT7 disc brake thus continues to prove itself at the highest level. Loic rarely bridles, but when he does, it’s with our MT7 PRO.
He who brakes, wins!

About the cooperation with Loic Bruni & Specialized Gravity
MAGURA & Specialized Gravity (Loic Bruni’s team) have had a close partnership for many years. The team has already achieved several world championship titles and overall world cup victories with our MAGURA brakes. Since day one, the cooperation has gone beyond the usual sponsoring, as we developed a custom brake lever with matching ergonomics for the star downhiller together with HC Loic Bruni at an early stage. The MAGURA #customizeyourbrake concept with different lever options has long been established on the market today.
